I am a licensed professional counselor and enjoy working with teens, adult individuals, and couples in all stages of life.

While raising my children, I spent nineteen years working in administrative roles in a hospital setting.  As my children began to reach adulthood, I felt led to embark on a new journey.  My love for helping others inspired me to return to college and complete the requirements to become a licensed counselor. While my professional and educational experience are essential, I consider my own personal life experience to be my greatest asset in connecting with those I meet with. I know firsthand how challenging it can be to reach out for help during times of difficult transitions, loss, loneliness, and deep sadness.  I also know seeking help for anxiety, when the thought of doing so only increases these feelings, can seem overwhelming.

I understand the courage it takes, and am here to help you take one small step at a time. I encourage you to take the first brave step by scheduling an appointment today.  Come share a safe space with me and we will work together to place you on a path toward a hope filled future.

As a counselor, I view my role as a helper to those facing challenges difficult to navigate alone. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals during these times, partnering with them in reaching a place of restoration and hope. I admire the uniqueness of each individual and appreciate the opportunity to hear and understand each person’s journey. I enjoy working with men and women throughout all life stages, teens, and couples.

I am experienced in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I use a Client-Centered approach along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. I welcome the opportunity to incorporate biblical Christian truths into our work together.

“Let us hold fast to the confession of our HOPE without wavering, for God who has promised is faithful.” – Hebrews 10:22
