Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
If you are reading this, you are looking for help, and I know that can feel like a difficult and daunting task. I’m proud of you for taking this step for yourself.
Taking care of ourselves as women can be hard. We take care of our families, our friends, our coworkers, even our pets, but we often forget to take time for ourselves.
The problem with this is that if we don’t take time to care for ourselves, we lose our ability to care for anyone else. We suffer, and then those around us suffer as well.
How is what you are dealing with already affecting you? How is it affecting your kids? Your family? Your work? Your health? How will it continue to affect you and those around you if you do not seek help?
So, here you are reading this and thinking about getting help.
You are looking for hope. You are looking for a listening ear. You are looking for support and affirmation. You are looking for coping skills and tools to help manage anxiety, grief, life transitions, difficult relationships, or an uncertain future. Maybe life hasn’t turned out how you have expected.
Or maybe it has, but you still feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and sad. You look around, and your life appears to be going well, but you’re not happy.
You feel guilty because you think you should feel happy, but you don’t. You know something is wrong, but you’re not sure how to fix it.
You know you need help and support right now. You’re exhausted from navigating this stressful time alone. However, it’s difficult to make that first phone call or send an email asking for help. I understand.
I had to make this same call over ten years ago when I was experiencing postpartum depression after the birth of my second child. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and living in a fog. I wasn’t sure what I needed, but I decided to make a phone call for help.
I’m so glad I did. It was life-changing for me. It changed me as a person, my relationship with my spouse, and my relationship with my kids.
Now I am honored to extend that same help and hope to other women.
Think how different your life will be in one month, six months, a year from now, or even ten years from now, if you reach out and start this process today, I can help.
We can meet in my office or via telehealth, whichever works best for you.
