I work with children who are potty-trained, ages three and older. I use toys, art and games as we talk about anxiety, fears and grief. I work with the whole family to develop healthy communication and strengthen relationships.

Anxiety in Children

Children often experience anxiety and express it though tantrums, shutting down, acting out, or withdrawing. Parents may feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. I work with both the child and parent to help provide coping skills, identification of emotions, and techniques that help the child work through his or her anxiety and I work with the parent(s) to provide the understanding, tools and support for the child.
