With over 20 years of experience in the counseling field, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, and young adults—from age five through college—helping them navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence.
My approach to counseling is practical, goal-oriented, and rooted in reality-based, client-centered methods. I naturally take on more of a coaching style in my sessions, which tends to resonate well with teens and young adults. They appreciate the straightforward, supportive, and action-focused nature of our work together.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including:
-
As a school counselor at a private Pre-K through 12th grade school
-
As a special education counselor in public middle and high schools
-
As an educational life coach in private practice, offering college prep and academic coaching
-
As a crisis counselor at a Children’s Advocacy Center
-
And as an individual and group therapist at the Tarrant County Children’s Advocacy Center, supporting teen survivors of sexual abuse
Whether in a school, clinical, or coaching setting, my goal is always the same: to meet young people where they are and help them move forward with purpose and support.
I specialize in working with youth and young adults with ADHD that struggle with day to day anxieties and difficulties with time management, study skills, and note taking.
